We just completed a minivacation--one day drive each way, plus a ferry ride and stay on Lopez Island:

Diablo Lake on Wash SR 20--it's a hydro dam reservoir, but you can almost ignore the power lines...

Eagles on a post near the ferry dock at Anacortes.

Kingfisher near Iceberg Point on Lopez Island

Pacific loon.

Seal by Shark Reef County Park on Lopez Island

Harlequin ducks, same location

Iceberg Point--the rock hills were scraped by Pleistocene glaciers, and a couple glacial erratics are left of the trees...

Sunset at Lopez Village harbor.

Canada Jay, Rainy Pass, Cascade Mountains.

Rainy Lake on Rainy Pass, a glacial circque lake, glacier is totally gone, in spite of being shown on the informational sign..

One of my lost paintings from college was a scene with a paisley background and in the foreground an artist (myself) painting with an easel but actually painting in his own leg.  It's a difficult concept to convey:
My prompt to ChatGPT: a painting styled image of a painter painting in his own knee while seated in front of an easel
ChatGPT said:

Here is the image of the painter, seated in front of his easel, painting on his own knee in a cozy, sunlit studio. The surreal, whimsical atmosphere should capture the unique creativity of the scene. Let me know if you'd like to adjust any details!

In a surreal twist, he should be painting his own image on the easel, while painting his own knee in the outer scene

Here’s the updated surreal scene where the painter is not only painting on his own knee, but also painting a self-portrait on the easel, creating a layered reality. The whimsical twist should add a mind-bending quality to the artwork. Let me know if you’d like any further adjustments!
I didn't try a third time to get him drawing his own knee....
