Nov. 8
With the advent of a lot of gloomy weather, I haven't taken so many photos. But here are some from early November:
I like the way the frost lines mimic the pine needles.
Here the needles are muddy underneath and there's a bit of light diffraction...
The
golden leaves often get splotchy on their way to brown. Blue sky
is reflected in this early morning photo (later the puddles melt)

We're
having a la nina windstorm today, after a inch or more of rain over the
previous half week... The weather is shifting towards winter,
although the wet portion has been in the 50's...
I'm a bit laid up with back issues for a couple days, so I made a video to pass the time: Snoqualmie Pass with original MIDI composition
Nov. 19
First snow last evening, mushy today...
I also made another video with frost imagery

We've
had a lot of late fall weather--fog, rain, sleet, snow... A
couple days ago I got this photo at the lake at dusk. Venus is
visible above the trees on the point, and Jupiter farther off up to the
left...

It's
back to rainy and warm, but I took this photo 3 days ago and I love its
abstract quality. It might be the surface of one of Jupiter's
moons. It might be a bit of ice on a mud puddle...
