This shows the rows of pots in production, either set
directly on boards, or on bats on boards. When dry, they are set over the
kiln to get thoroughly dry before firing, or candled in the kiln for the
same purpose. On these shelves globs of clay are generally being dried
out sufficiently for wedging to recycle scraps. See my tipspage

that system in total. On the bottom shelf I keep extra ware boards,
and a place under the shelves for materials storage, empty
cardboard boxes, buckets etc.
